Why didn't someone tell me that there are hundreds of live shows for download on dischord records' website? For every show, there is a free track to download to see if you like the rest of the songs from that particular show. Prices for entire shows are on a sliding scale; they are $5 unless you want to pay a different price, then you pay a different price, evidently. Because I'm a super haxor, I can tell you that there are 529 tracks for free, one for each of the shows that are currently up there.
Civilian Assault is a bad ass fun metal band from Santa Rosa. They got a show coming up at the Phoenix on the 14th. They would tell you on Facebook except somebody thought they were too metal and got them banned from that social network. Social outcasts? That's a good thing in the metal world. Facebook isn't free speech. Burning Token is. Fuck, shit, damn, hookers, pimps, vagina juice. You can't say that on TV.
The Brothers Horse show at Hopmonk was fucking crazy! There were weird dancers everywhere dressed up in lace and leather, there was a chick with an angle grinder spraying me with sparks while I was trying to film. It was hot. Sparks are like that.
I just finished up building a cool new site for all you out there who like RC planes and helicopters, RC Fun Lab, http://rcfunlab.com. I'm working on a post production on video that Derailed Freight Train, Resin8, and I shot of some of the RC planes and helicopters in action. There was a remote control blimp too. Well, it was more like a helium baloon tied to a helicopter, but oh well. Resin8 was on the camera for most of the time, I was shooting video, D was on the stereo sound. That shit will be blowin' up soon ya'll!
You can see photos from the day of the shoot if you click on over to
